Amargosa Creek Announcements

  • Friday, February 24, 2017

    • The Cougar Campus is closed to all students until 7:30 a.m., with the exception of Zero Period Students.   All Zero Period Students will be given a special pass and must be prepared to show it to staff to enter campus before 7:30 a.m.
    •  Students, do not bring candy to school!   Remember to eat a health breakfast and leave the candy at home!
    •  The cafeteria is now opening all windows to serve every choice.  So you can now get your salads, yogurt and hot food items at any window! Inside or out!
    •  Today’s cougar cash incentive is Movies/Nachos for 6th and 7th grade students in Room. 127 and 202 for 20 cougar cash. 8th grade students will have early release for 10 cougar cash.
    •  Math tutoring is still available on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings from 7:25 – 8:10.  Permission slips are available in the Administration Office.
    •  There will be a AAAC Jr. Meeting today during 8th grade lunch in room 207.
    •  Attention 8th Graders:  Next Monday, February 27th is the Lancaster High School Road Show during 1st period.  Don’t miss this time to get all the important information you need to get ready for starting high school in the fall!
    • 8th GradeTeachers, please take roll and enter through the cafeteria from the southwest door.

    Boys remember to dress for success with a shirt and tie every Monday   .

    No games today

    No girl’s practice today.

    Practice will resume on Monday 3:10 – 4:45

     NEWS FROM MR. CHRIS – ACMS RECREATION LEADER

    Come play King of the Court today at lunch. Winners stay on until they lose.  Teams are 5 on 5.

    Please come sign up for 3 on 3 Basketball tournament on Wednesday, March 8th

    Spots are filling up fast!

    We have new painting easel’s!  Come see him at lunch today and give him ideas on how and what you would like to do.

    • The March 1st, blood drive is rapidly approaching and we are only at 50% of our goal! Let's go Cougars!  Get those donation papers back to Ms. Delgadillo ASAP!  Every student that brings a donor gets a free baseball cap.  The student from each grade level who recruits the most donors gets to have lunch with a friend at the honors table at the head of the cafeteria.  We need you!!!! Every blood donation saves 3 lives.  American Red Cross sends a letter to each donor telling them about the life they saved.  Let’s see some Cougar Pride Roar throughout the valley!!!!
    •  Spring portraits will be on Friday, March 3rd.  Order forms will be going home soon.

    •  CJSF applications, a copy of the report card from 1st semester, AND $8.00 are due by Thursday, Feb. 23.  These can be turned in to Ms. Lambeth in room 105
